We decided to allow the administrator to specify a special TeamTrack state to map to the "closed" Perforce state, rather than its own name. This is to allow users of the Perforce Windows GUI and Perforce plug-ins to submit and "close" a job at the same time (requirement 45). According to Kathy at Perforce, it's unlikely that the Windows GUI or the plug-ins will support choice of the fix keyword on submit in time for the beta, and perhaps not in time for general release, and we found that this was a reasonable workaround during the alpha programme. This will need to go in the AG with an explanation. References to this document needs to be inserted in the sources where GDR has today written an approximate reference (to 'Distinguished state to map to "closed"').
