P4DTI issue job000458

Title:P4DTI doesn't automatically detect TeamTrack version
Status:suspended
Priority:nice
Assigned user:Gareth Rees
Organization:Ravenbrook
Description:The P4DTI doesn't automatically detect the version of the TeamTrack server when it starts up. This means that the P4DTI administrator has to specify the version, and that means that they might get it wrong. The error messages are very obscure when the TeamTrack server version is incorrect. The P4DTI TeamTrack integration is now maintained and supported by TeamShare <http://www.teamshare.com/>.
Analysis:There might be a way to find out portably; see [1].
Alternatively, we could try connecting with both APIs and see if either works.
