| Description | We would like to provide a control which affects when segments are considered large for tuning purposes. What is the right thing to do here? |
| Analysis | After discussion with DL and RB. We think that in the short term being able to specify the MPS_KEY_LARGE_SIZE, is OK for experimental tuning for Configura, but this is not something we want to hand out in general as it is not a good or clear interface. So we will initially implement but not document this control.
This is supposed to allow us to affect and in particular avoid retention in some way. Further thought is required as to what control we want to provide if any. |
