| Title | mps_io_* functions are misleadingly named |

| Description | Bruce Mitchener [1] said, "I would find it useful to get a realtime telemetry stream from an MPS application rather than having to deal with a file after the fact." This is already possible, by writing your own plinth and replacing the mps_io_* functions. But this isn't at all clear from the documentation or from the function names: the mps_io_* names suggest that these functions might be used for general-purpose I/O, rather than specifically outputting the telemetry stream. |
