P4DTI issue job000021

TitleTeamShare must provide a free licence to P4DTI users
Statusclosed
Priorityessential
Assigned userRichard Brooksby
OrganizationTeamShare
DescriptionThe replicator requires an account in TeamTrack, and this needs an extra licence. TeamShare charge for licences, and it's not clear that people will be able to get one.
AnalysisTeamShare need either to provide free licences for the integration, rather like Perforce's "daemon licenses", or change the API so that the integration doesn't need a licence.
Note that a licence is required _per_ _replicator_.
How foundinspection
Evidence"Make sure that TeamTrack has enough licences for the P4DTI replicator to have a user of its own. [We should tell them what to do if it doesn't. They probably need to go back to TeamShare and ask for a special extra licence. TeamShare need to make arrangements to cope with this. RB 2000-10-16]" in SAG
