Title | Can't find out coverage of recent overnight test runs |
Status | suspended |
Priority | optional |
Assigned user | Nick Barnes |
Product | project |
Organization | Ravenbrook |
Description | Our overnight test suite runs include a coverage test, and the test report includes a coverage report. The coverage data is saved in a file called ".coverage". Between consecutive test suite runs, it is possible to use this data to generate detailed line-by-line code coverage reports. However, if the test suite run fails to complete (e.g. because the MySQL server on swan is down) then (a) the coverage test report is not generated, and (b) the coverage test data file is scribbled on, so generating more detailed reports is impossible. |
Analysis | We could set the COVERAGE_FILE environment variable to save all the coverage files. |
How found | manual_test |
Evidence | Swan was poorly for a couple of weeks and I can't get a coverage test report. |
