Title | Automated tests can't cope if dbms_password is needed. |
Status | suspended |
Priority | optional |

Organization | Ravenbrook |
Description | If the dbms user specified by dbms_user (in the config.py file) require a password to access the DBMS then the tests will give an error (or some of them will). |
Analysis | None of the testing code makes any effort to accommodate a password being required. This isn't a big deal because it's just a case of making sure the database used by the test suite has no password on the appropriate user. But it also means that the automated tests can't test the database password functionality. |
How found | manual_test |
Evidence | Give user a password and try running tests |
